The Junior Activities Committee has been busy organising the coming season with lots of fun activities planned to learn beach skills, improve our competition skills, make some new friends and go home on a Sunday after a great morning with a happy face.
We are pleased to say we have some new age managers to begin the season with, but as always we can always do with more assistants, so if you would like to help and familiarise yourself with nippers and Surf Life Saving we will be looking to organise some training sessions for parents at the start of the season. To register your interest please email me at

Water safety is always a high priority on the beach and we are always on the lookout for parents who would like to complete their Surf Rescue Certificate and help out the children as a Water Safety Official, so again if you feel this could be for you then please let me know or contact Michael (0422 227 456 The present ratio stands at 1:5 so we cannot stress enough the value of water safety volunteers and if we don’t have the support then the children lose out by not being allowed in the water as much as they would like.

We are also hoping to keep the barbeque going this season so a calendar for advanced volunteers will be in place so everyone knows where they stand and we are not left without anyone or the same people coming to the rescue each week.

All help that can be offered will be greatly appreciated, so let’s start planning and make this a great season!

Look up our Facebook page to keep up-to-date with all the club events.

We look forward to seeing you all soon back on the sand!
